Harlingen, TX is serviced by Valley International Airport, which is about 15 minutes from the Convention Center. Major airlines including Southwest, American, Delta, and United fly to Harlingen. Visitors will most likely need to connect in Houston or Dallas for the final leg to the Rio Grande Valley.
Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport is another good option. It is about a 40-minute drive from the Convention Center and is also serviced by many major airlines. A third option is McAllen International Airport, also about 40 minutes from the Convention Center.
Please note that ongoing construction in the McAllen area often creates traffic delays so this route can take considerably longer at times. Car rental is available at all three locations.
